Like its sister firm Jaguar, British brand Land Rover has gone from strength to strength under Tata ownership, and continues to grow following the notable success of the Evoque SUV and the replacement for the old Freelander, the Discovery Sport.
The top of Land Rover’s line-up is strong, with the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover boasting strong appeal to large SUV and luxury car customers.
All that remains is a new version of the venerable Defender – but reinventing the iconic car that cemented the company’s image has been proving a difficult task.
